4. Technical information processed when you visit

Although we do not collect your calculator inputs, technical information is processed as part of delivering and securing the website.

This may include:

• security and error logs.

This information is generally processed by our hosting and infrastructure providers rather than being collected by CardFeeCheck for marketing or profiling purposes.

Vercel hosting

The website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes incoming requests as part of providing hosting, delivery, security and infrastructure services. This can include IP addresses, request information and server or access logs.

Logo image CDN

The CardFeeCheck homepage logo is loaded from cdn.marblism.com, a third-party content delivery network associated with Marblism.

When your browser requests the logo, the CDN may receive your IP address and request headers. This is necessary for the CDN to deliver the image and support the operation of the website.

The applicable role of the CDN may depend on the services and contractual arrangements in place. Marblism’s own privacy information should be reviewed for further details.

5. How we use technical information and our lawful bases

We use or arrange for technical information to be processed for the following purposes:

Our legitimate interests are to provide a functioning website, protect it against misuse and keep it secure. We consider these interests to be proportionate because the technical processing is limited to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.

We do not currently use personal information for behavioural advertising, direct marketing or profiling.

6. Analytics

A PostHog analytics script is present in the website code. However, the configuration needed to activate it is not currently in place. As a result:

Analytics may use cookies, local storage or similar browser technologies, and an appropriate cookie consent banner and controls will be added before those technologies are used.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

CardFeeCheck currently sets no cookies.

The website does not use document.cookie, and it does not currently use local storage or session storage to retain information.

The website also does not currently use tracking pixels or similar tracking technologies.

Calculator figures

Calculator figures remain in the browser page session and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. They are not retained by CardFeeCheck after the page session ends.

Technical information and logs may be retained by Vercel for the period needed to provide its services, maintain security, investigate misuse, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
